Cancer strikes again
Submitted by: Ken Maynor | The father of a gentlemen who lives across from our office just came home from the hospital after surgery for prostate cancer. It does not look good for him. He also ministers a small church in Chickamauga. Please pray for him. Also, his son, the one who lives across from my office has been out of work for a couple of months and cannot find work, plus he spent the night at the hospital last night, his wife was admitted. > I have a special prayer request for Janice\'s mother, Lorraine. She is
in the hospital in Lexington, KY with some very serious health issues. She
went in for a heart attack, then found out it was caused by low blood, which
complicated the process of her care. Then, she developed a staph infection
due to an IV needle that was left in her arm too long. That infection went
to her knee which had been replaced and they ended up having to take the
knee out. They have also found numerous other problems while she has been
there, including some that are very serious. We know that God answers
prayer and with Him, nothing is impossible. We would love it if you would
please pray for her. She is a good Christian lady, and loves the Lord. She
lives alone and has been leading a very busy and productive life. Thank you
for your prayers. Without your love, friendship and faithful prayers, I am
not sure we could make it. You have no idea how important you are to us.

Health
Submitted by: Celerbartion Singers | On Saturday,11-08, our friends were having lunch with their friends, Jerry & Paula. When Paula calmly said that she was in pain & needed to go to the emergency room. She is now in critical care at Baptist Hospital, Nashville, Tn. with a blood clot in her liver and has been put on the list for a liver transplant. They have her on blood thinners to attempt to dissolve the clot but there is a danger if it breaks up and can go to her lungs or cut off blood supply to the liver. Prayers are urgently needed for her and her family.

Aunt's Health
Submitted by: Teresa Anderson | Aunt Zella is to be released from the hospital in the morning. She did have another TIA. The urologist confirmed the mass on the kidney/adrenal glad has increased in size by 5cm (now over 8 cm) since the first CAT scan two-and-a-half weeks ago. The mass is malignant, and is growing very fast. She is currently taking aspirin to thin her blood to stop the strokes. The doctors are discussing which medication she should be placed on to make sure the blood is thin enough to get through the veins in the brain. However, being on blood thinners does not make her candidate for surg. She will have to be off the blood thinners in order to have surgery, but will continue to have strokes if she is not on blood thinners. Her care is being transferred to an oncologist and we hope to be able to see him next week. Will let you know more when more information comes in. Please keep praying. Thank you!

Submitted by: Jim Stephens | This email is about Sherri Parker (Holcomb) who teaches kindergarten at Brownwood. She has been out of school for 6 weeks now with what they said was Shingles. Please forward to any and all that you know will lift her in prayer!
She saw a neurologist Tuesday for a nerve induction test which came back with some uncertainty. So, he set up an MRI for her yesterday (Thursday). It showed there was some sort of mass/growth on her spine (L2). He quickly set up an appointment for today for her to see a surgeon at Montclair in Birmingham. He told her to pack a bag, so she thinks they may try to remove this thing today. Her sister, Iris, was driving her down there this morning.
